Hi all if the New River or Big Stoney look good right now it's in part because Saturday was Renew the New an event that amoung other groups NRVTU participated and again NRVTU Policed the banks of Big Stoney before joining the other groups for lunch and to get our T shirts. My wife and I have participated in this event for the last 4 or 5 years and it just seemed to me that Big Stoney had far less litter to pick up and I personally feel that is a direct effect of the installation of the BEAR PROOF TRASH BINS a brain child and fruit of the efforts of NRVTU member Tom Bannon a man I feel very fortunate to call a friend.

Cherokee Flats Trail Cleanup
Members gave the Cherokee Flats trail some much needed love today, removing brush and clearing the pavement of debris.
